We Are Here To Help
Here at TCS, we value everyone’s needs and concerns. This ensures that we do all we can to make our buses as convenient and accessible as possible to individuals with disabilities and restricted mobility. If you ride in a wheelchair, use a support animal, or are pregnant on your journey, we are prepared and able to accommodate you.
Foldable Wheelchair Access:
If your mobility is limited and you are able to board and exit the bus on your own or with the assistance of a friend, you can ride on any TCS bus. Your driver can store your collapsible wheelchair or mobility aid in the bus’s luggage area.
If You Are Unable To Leave Your Wheelchair or Mobility Aid:
If you have limited mobility and choose to stay in a wheelchair throughout the journey, your driver can support you aboard using the hydraulic lift and lock your wheelchair in one of our wheelchair spaces on our buses.
Wheelchairs and accessibility devices traveling in the passenger cabin must follow the size and weight requirements mentioned below:
- Due to the capability of hydraulic wheelchair lifts and as allowed by ADA guidelines, weight including the occupant cannot reach 600 lbs.
- 30 x 48 inch wheelchair measurements.
- Mobility scooter measuring 30 x 30 x 48 inches
If you or someone in your group needs a wheelchair or mobility assistance please make sure to leave a note regarding the situation, when completing a quote request
Service Animals aboard Charter bus
Please feel free to travel with your ADA-certified service animal on any of our buses. While no prior confirmation is needed, we invite you to call our Customer Support team at (714) 637-4300 to let us know you’ll be traveling with a service animal. Your advance notice allows us to guarantee that we are prepared and equipped for every guest and that any potential issues (such as driver allergies) are adjusted before your trip starts. If there is enough room on the bus for larger service animals, the driver can open up the wheelchair space for your service animal during the journey. No vests or muzzles are required for service animals.
